A Document is a bounded physical representation of information designed with the capacity (and usually intent) to communicate.
Uploading New File:
All project members can upload files into Zoho Projects as shown below.

1. Click on Upload New File
2. Click on Browse to upload a file.
3. Enter the File comment name
4. Enter the File Tag name.
5. Select the folder in which the file should be added to .
6. Select the users to notify regarding the file upload.
7. Click on Upload File.
Adding New Document:
Project Member can also add a new document as shown below,

1. Click on New Document.
2. Enter Document Name
3. Select Folder in which the document to be added.
4. Click Create New Document.
Adding New Spreadsheet:
Project Member can also add a new spreadsheet as shown below,

1. Click on New Spreadsheet
2. Enter Spreadsheet Name
3. Select Folder in which the spreadsheet to be added.
4. Click on Create New Spreadsheet.
Options:
The various options available under documents are explained as follows,

Upload New Version File:

Zoho Projects supports versioning wherein same document can be uploaded with changes many times and each time the document is uploaded a unique version is assigned to it. The documents will have revision numbers to show the changes made by different users at different periods of time and any version of document can be downloaded at any time.
Move File:
Any file can be moved from one folder to another. Moving of file is shown below,

1. Select the folder to which the file has to be moved. (step 1 in fig)
2. Click on Move File.
Delete:
Any file in a project can be deleted. Once a file is deleted it cannot be retrieved. On deleting process, alert message will appear as shown below,

Search:
Search can be done in Zoho Projects based on two criteria.
1. Tag Search (Tags are used to mark any document for easier identification or for future reference)
2. Search using Extension.

Adding Folder:
Project Members can add folders in order to arrange the uploaded or added documents folder wise.

1. Click on Add Folder (step 1 in fig)
2. Enter the Folder name
3. Click on Add Folder (step 3 in fig).
