An Internet forum is a web application for holding discussions and posting user-generated content.

Creating Forum Post:

            The steps to create a new forum post are explained below with a pictorial view....

    1. Click on New Forum Post.

    2. Enter Forum Title.

    3. Enter Forum post Content.

    4. Select Category from the drop down.

    5. Select users from the list to notify regarding forum post.

    6. Click on Submit to add the post.

            Note: At the bottom of the page user can preview the post to be added.

Options associated with forum post:

                           The options associated with a forum post are given as below,

Edit:

        This option is used to edit the forum post. The post title, post content and category can be changed. Attaching/Removing a file can also be done under this option.

Delete:

        This option is used to delete the forum post.

        Note: By clicking on OK the forum post will be deleted and on clicking Cancel the deletion process will be aborted.

Add Comment:

        This option is used to add comment to the forum post. Adding of comments to the forum post can be done by the project members. A comment is generally a verbal or written remark. The use of the word is often related to an added piece of information about the post.

    1. Enter the comments content.

    2. Click on attach to upload a document/file, if needed.

    3. Select the users to notify regarding comment post.

    4. Click on Post Comment.

Adding Category:

                   New Category can be added to forums in project in order to categorise the posts in forum.

    1. Enter Category Name.

    2. Click Add Category.
