- How to create a new project ?
To create a new project, click New Project link on the top right of the project panel, enter project name & project description.
- How to archive a project ?
To archive a project, click the required project (from the project panel) that needs to be archived, click 
(edit pencil icon) and select the archive option from the project status drop down and click update button.
- How to clear project data ?
To clear project data, click the required project from the project panel, click 
(clear project, red cross icon), click OK button from the alert message.
- How to delete a project ?
To delete a project, click the required project from the project panel, click 
(delete project, trash icon), click OK button from the alert message.
- How to get RSS feed for a particular project ?
To get the RSS feed for any particular project, click the required project from the project panel, click 
(RSS feed icon), enter the portal's user name and password.

To view the clients info, log onto your portal, click "settings" link on the top right of the window and click "client view" tab to view the client company and client users in an organization.
Do archived projects count towards the total number of projects offered within each service level (i.e. Standard level includes 20 projects)?
No, archived projects are not taken into account for the total number of projects.
Only the active/live projects are taken into account for the total number of projects in any plan.
Is the information, associated with archived projects, accessible for review after the project is archived?

Yes, the information associated with archived projects can be accessed.
Click required project under Archived Projects and add/edit/delete the project information.
Can I upload an MS-project plan into Zoho Projects? Thanks
As of now, its not possible to upload MS Projects into Zoho Projects.
Ability to import MS Project into Zoho Projects is already taken up in our feature list and will be rolled out in future.

As of now, it is not possible to create a project template from an existing project.
Initially, you can create a project template. Then using that template, you can create a project.
How do you move tasks from an existing project into a newly created project?

As of now, task can be moved from one task list to another in a project and it is not possible to move a task from one project to another.
I just upgraded from FREE to STANDARD, but when I create project, I could not find any project TEMPLATE. It still says "None." I thought it is supposed to come with 4 templates in STANDARD. Do I have to do something to activate that?

Thanks for upgrading from FREE to STANDARD plan. Currently, there are no pre-defined project templates available in Zoho Projects. As an administrator you can create project templates suiting your need and use that template while creating new project.
How to use Project Template:
1. Click "+" sign to the right of Project Template title and create a new project template.
2. Add the required tasks & milestones, documents, forums posts and users to the project template.
3. Create new project using the project template (Click 'New Project' option --> enter the project name --> select the required project template --> click 'Add Project' button)
4. New Project will be created and all the data in the template will be included in the project.

Currently, it is not possible to export a project (as a whole) from Zoho as a backup. Instead you can export Tasks & Milestones, Time sheet data and download the documents.
Exporting a project as a whole is already taken up in our feature list and will be provided in future.
How can I edit the name of resources to include full name. It only allows me to add email address.

As of now, it is not possible for a user (including admin) to enter other user's personal profile. Only the user can update his/her personal profile like full name, nick name, contact number.
Recently upgraded from FREE to STANDARD. But we still can't seem to find a way to do two important things:
1 - create a custom task status (as of now, tasks are only "OPEN" or "CLOSED" with no review or in-progress stages
2 - create custom filters, such as the ability to categorize a task or project by company department (e.g. "design," "project management," "integration," etc)
Where is this functionality?

As of now, the task status and filters are defined and it is not possible to create custom task status and filters in Zoho Projects.

Hi, I am new to Zoho and I just started a free account. We started a project almost one month before, but when I have created a new project here, I found that there is no way to me to set the project start date. Am I missed something? or it is this way. thanks. I love the interface, any ways.

Basic design of Zoho Projects is that, the projects are created without start date. Only milestones/tasks in a project have start and end date.
