communication to be made:
- Organizing meetings or conferences,
- Intimating the meeting schedule to the team
- Sending reminders to the members well in advance
- Involving the team members/sub ordinates in the meetings
- Also, maintaining the meeting notes,agenda of meeting for future references
- Posting a discussion topic and other adding their views as comments
Zoho Projects addresses communication management & collaboration under following modules
Meetings
The
Meetings module addresses the above organizational needs
systematically.This module displays the list of upcoming meetings that
have been scheduled and the list of elapsed meetings in the recent
past.This enables the user to understand the position of the project
and prepare well in advance for the upcoming meetings with users as
well as clients.
A meeting can be created using the New Meeting option
and the schedule can be specified under the date and time boxes.You can
also choose to remind the participants of the meeting well in advance
or in time for the meeting.This acts as an alert reminder and saves the
huge time lag in gathering the members during the meeting.There is also
an option to add notes (i.e minutes of meeting,agenda) about the meeting for future reference.You can make use of hide notes option to hide the display of the notes that is added.
Recurring Meetings
Zoho
Projects now has the option to create Meetings which are recurring in
nature. Meetings can be repetitively scheduled and the recurrence
frequency can be Every Day/Week/Month/Year. Based on the repeat timing
selected here, recurring Meetings can be scheduled at any of these
specified intervals, so that each time a Meeting need not be scheduled
afresh. This feature comes in handy for Meetings which are fixed and
regular.

Forums
Forums
plays an important role in collaboration & communication. Forums is
one where users can post a topic to discussed/debated and others can
add comments to it. The Forums module allows creation of new forum
posts, editing, deleting of posts made by users. The users can add
attachments to their posts, add comments and also add attachments to
their comments. Forum topics navigation can be done easily.
Preview for Forum Posts
This
feature generates a preview of the Forum Post as you type. This is very
helpful as it lets you see how your post would actually appear on the
Forum even before it is submitted.
I can't select who I want a forum post to be sent to if I don't want it to go to the whole group, can I?

Forum posts cannot be sent as such to project members. Only notification regarding the forum post can be sent to the project members.
It is possible to sent notification to any particular user. To send notification, click "New Forum Post" button --> Enter the forum post title, content --> Select the category --> Select the required users from the "Notify this Post to" list box and hit "Submit" button.
Once done the selected user(s) alone will receive the email notifications.
Any way to get a vote tally for a forum conference?
Is it possible for a user to confirm or deny their attendence at a specific meeting?

Currently, tallying votes for a forum is not possible in Zoho Projects. If you can explain the exact requirement of this feature, then we can analyze and consider providing the same in future, if possible.
